Today is Memorial Day.

For those of us who are confused about the difference between Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day-

Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day are both federal holidays that commemorate those in the armed forces. Veteran’s Day honors those who have served in the military in any way.  And, Memorial Day, we remember all who have died in active military service- those who gave their lives in the service and protection of America’s freedom.

To all who serve our country- I want to say, “Thank you” and “God bless you”. Thank you for your tremendous sacrifices.  Thank you for all you go through while you serve your country and after. Thank you that you are willing to pay the ultimate price to ensure my freedom and safety.

On Memorial Day, we remember those who paid the ultimate price. You are gone, but you are NOT forgotten.

Thank you, brave soldier. Thank you so much.
