My husband and I brought Roka home from the vet today.
He has now been neutered and the vet also removed a pellet from his chest, since he was already under anesthesia for the neutering. He had this pellet stuck in his fatty tissue ever since we found him as a stray. We were told by the vet a little while ago that it was OK to leave it where it was; but, if we ever had to do some other surgical procedure in which he would be given anesthesia, the vet could then take care of both things at one time.
Roka is happy to be back home with his family and is recovering nicely.
We are hoping the neutering will help with the aggression issue.
It is my and my husband’s anniversary today. We both took off work to do something special. However, after all the stuff going on with the dogs, we are just taking it easy and hanging around the house.
