Making homeade tostadas tonight-

Homeade taco filling- cooked ground beef added to a puree of onion, garlic, whole peeled tomatoes, chili powder, oregano, and sea salt. Simmered for about one hour.

Homeade flat shells- flour, butter, salt and water, fried in butter on a skillet. You need a generous amount of butter in the dough and while frying to make sure it is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Put shell on plate.  add taco filling, add cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, avacado, sour cream, etc.

Very very good!
